After spending some time looking at the online statistics section on Bungie I noticed that there was an option to filter by map. Could this mean that there is another game mode to be added? Or just another map added into rotation
From about 6:15pm today, by loading up your Halo ODST Campaign disc you can get your hands on the Halo: Reach BETA! Although you may be in for a long download there is no doubt that it will be worth it. Hopefully the server will withstand the demand and games will actually be playable ( and not another ‘stimulus pack’ fiasco ). Are you downloading the BETA as you read this? The stimulus pack is now available! Costing 1200 points from the Xbox Live Marketplace you get an additional 5 maps, with 2 old favourites ( Crash and Overgrown ) from CoD4. Activision announced that there will also be an update coming hand in hand with this pack that everyone will get when they sign in during the next couple of days
Even though Valve have been a little slack in introducing job updates and map patches to the Xbox 360 of the game, compared to their adamant efforts to please the PC games, it is good to know they haven’t completely forgotten us. In the coming month the remaining Xbox Live users who still own Orange Box will be able to download some much needed class updates. Details of both price and specific content has not yet been made available but we will bring you more as we hear it
Thats right! The moment some of you have been waiting for and some has been dreading has finally come around with the release of the ‘Dashboard 2.0′ update. Although I haven’t had much time to tinker around, it is already apparant that there have been some upgrades and overhauls from the previous system
With the release of the new call of duty coming ever closer, Activision have moved to publicly release the Beta, adding to the previously running private beta. You can now download your copy from the Marketplace and get shooting
Even though Halo 3 may have taken over Call Of Duty 4 as the most played Xbox Live title, Infinity Ward has not given up! Infinity Ward are planning to add an additional 4 game modes. Although there is currently no set date yet as to when these new playlists will go online, but I imagine it won’t be too long now
At a party tonight in downtown San Francisco Valve released confirmation on the new weapons that will be available to the Medic class in Team Fortress 2 on Orange Box. They allowed the guests to get some practicing done on these new weapons when the floor was opened up, pitting guests against each other equipped with the new Medic arsenal
New team fortress 2 content is coming to the PC Mid april, including a new map, a new game mode and unlockable weapons for all classes.
The update will add a new map, “Goldrush” that will be the first map to support the new game mode named “Payload”. This involves a team pushing a mine cart into the opposition’s base to blow it up
With the update coming tomorrow one of the best confirmed features in our opinion has to be the DivX codec support that will allow us to play all our favourite AVI videos straight off the xbox! The DivX codec will allow Avi files to be played via hard drive or streamed from your media centre PC.
